1 Cor 12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: The spirituals are for ministerial callings, graces and anointings:
4 There are diversities of gifts (spirituals 1 from verse 1), but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries (spirituals 2 from verse 1), but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities (spirituals 3 from verse 1.
1 Cor 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, to be seen but have not love, it profits me nothing. Not even a little
4 Love suffers long tolerates and is kind to many mean Christians then and today; love does not envy evil; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up pride; 5 does not behave rudely I have do this… short with people, does not seek its own selfish, is not provoked, thinks no evil looks for the good in people; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity wrong , but rejoices in the truth truth sets free. Spirit of truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 Cor 13:4 Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.
Love doesn't strut,
Doesn't have a swelled head,
5 Doesn't force itself on others,
Isn't always "me first,"
Doesn't fly off the handle,
Doesn't keep score of the sins of others,
6 Doesn't revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
7 Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end. THE MESSAGE
8 Love never fails. All ministries, operations and gifts are based, founded on love
But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
1 Cor 13:8 Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]. As for prophecy (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), it will be fulfilled and pass away; as for tongues, they will be destroyed and cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away [it will lose its value and be superseded by truth]. 4 "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."
