In almost every nativity scene out there, we see three wise men in robes holding gifts for Jesus...but who are they? Were they really there the night Jesus was born? Where did they come from?
In today’s episode, Pastor Derek and Pastor Jackie talk through the history of the magi, where we see them mentioned in Scripture, where they came from, and how they knew to come and see the Messiah. We look at the timeline of when they would have arrived and how it pushes back on what most modern day nativity scenes seem to infer. Our hope is that as you listen, you are encouraged to see men of great faith giving up a lot to travel to see the Messiah and have a more full picture of the Christmas story!
