There is no other true God, so we must acknowledge who He is and keep His commandments because they are what is best for us. Nehemiah 9:6 NKJV says, "You alone are the LORD; You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and everything on it, the seas and all that is in them, and You preserve them all." Mankind can often have an exalted view of the things of this world, but without what God has created we would have nothing. People can be more drawn to man-made things instead of God and value their ways and ideals instead of God's ways. Do not trust in the false ideals that separate you from God. Isaiah 59:2 NKJV says, "But your iniquities have separated you from your God." Not listening to the creator God's commandments separates people from God. What are your motivations in life? Are you treating God as who He is? He is the creator of the universe and all that is and because He is the creator God, He can do what He says He will do, and will do what He said He will do.
