Believers can experience God through His commandments and the works of the Holy Spirit. God has always been at work since the inception of time and has been trying to help mankind. Remember what God did for the Israelites – God delivered them from oppression, fed them, and supernaturally revealed Himself every day while they were in the desert. God can and will also do amazing things for us.
He is a good and caring God who can work powerfully for us. God does not need a vacation. He is always available to work on our behalf. Because God knows what is best for us, His commandments are intended to help us and so is the Holy Spirit. They are life giving and for every area of life. We must work at keeping God's commandments and desire the work of the Holy Spirit. By pursuing God's ways and His help we can give honor to God. Our spiritual life does not automatically happen, but we must pursue it and not reject the things of God. Never forget God's goodness and stay positively focused on following God.
