Our God is there, and He wants us to be in fellowship with Him. We fellowship with a person by listening to each other. We need to decide to listen to God and not faulty ideas made-up by people. Listen to God's words which are able to help us and keep us. People think they can be savvy and know what is best instead of doing what God says to do. There are lots of ways to live, but only the true God knows what is truly best for us. Do not just hear God's words; do them or you will be living in deception. It is God that sustains the world and not us.
Some of the Old Testament portion scriptures are pictures of spiritual things. The ritual sacrifices of the Israelites were to be pure, which is a picture for us to be pure. Yeshua the Messiah was pure. Moshe strikes the rock instead of speaking to it. He was not able to enter the promised land because of what he did. We should remember that God expects us to do exactly what He says. If we want truth, we need to be able to accept truth and do what the Bible says. People often produce their own ideas of life instead of the truths from the Bible. God wants what is best for us instead of the failure of mankind’s ways. He can reach us even in the darkness and deception of this world.
