So, mankind keeps making the same mistakes over and over instead of doing what is right. The Bible says the Old Testament commandments give us wisdom and understanding (see Deuteronomy 4:6). Don't we want what is "right and good?" Why wouldn't people want what a good, caring, and loving God wants for us through His word and His commandments? People make themselves into a god and reject the true God. They are deluded.
God's ways help us in life and are better than the ways of this world. Those who oppose God are often doing so for selfish means. They could have a much better life through God and His truths for life. The selfish ways of mankind do not produce what is 'right and good.' God's commandments would make the world a so much better and fulfilling place. God has given us the Holy Spirit in this Messianic age and the Holy Spirit can do so much for us. The Holy Spirit is powerful and can be exciting.
