The true God has given mankind so much, yet it seems that mankind is stubborn and will never learn that God's ways will bring peace, blessing, and prosperity. Peace and satisfaction in life are often the most valued things in life. Psalms 119:165-167 NKJV says, "Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble. LORD, I hope for Your salvation, and I do Your commandments. My soul keeps Your testimonies, and I love them exceedingly." God has given mankind provision and blessings over the ages, and He wants to give us eternal life in an amazing future kingdom, but you have to want what He wants to give us and that includes wanting His help through His word. Those that reject God's good ways have rejected God and live in sin. Isaiah 59:2 NKJV says, "But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you."
Those who reject God will end up in the lake of fire (see Revelation 21:8). Those who change and do what is "right and good," accept the Messiah, and walk humbly with God will be in the future kingdom. Isaiah 1:18-19 NKJV says, "'Come now, and let us reason together,' Says the LORD, 'Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient.'" God will have mercy on those who repent, change, and follow His words. Lamentations 3:22-24 NKJV says, "Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. 'The LORD is my portion,' says my soul, 'Therefore I hope in Him!'" God is faithful and good. We can trust in Him, and we have hope in our good God.
