Tillie Klimek has many nicknames, among them “The Black Widow of Chicago,” “The High Priestess of the Bluebeard Clique,” and—my favorite—“The Premonition Poisoner.” She was rumored to be a psychic, and said to have poisoned as many as 20 people, cementing her name as one of the merry murderesses of 1920s Chicago.
