Kamille has two platforms:  (1) Suicide and Depression and (2) Anti Sex Trafficking.

Importance of platform:  “I am really happy that my story was able to help someone that was in the same situation as me.”

“Finding organizations and networks to help people get through that (suicide) was what really helped me.”

“I still as a 23-year-old struggle with my self-confidence.”

“All of those bad things that have happened in my life, past and current, has made me who I am. Building me a thicker skin and being more confident in myself.”

“What I love about pageantry is the community service.  Giving back to the community.  Having a purpose and having a why. “

“I walked out of the Miss International Pageant with more confidence in myself.”

About bullying: “I remember in that moment I was just thinking, ‘What did I do to deserve this?’…  I still don’t know, to this day, why I am such an easy target. “

Response to bullying:  “I am not going to let that (person not liking me) define how I am going to live the rest of my day, the rest of my week, or the rest of my year.”  Make sure you have mentors to guide you.
