Scientists are supposed to be objective and open-minded. But for many who believe in evolution, that open-minded seeking for truth seems to stop if the answer is "God." The Cosmological Argument
Whatever begins to exist has a cause
The universe began to exist
Therefore, the universe has a cause.
But the universe could not have caused itself.
The universe is composed of space, time, and matter.
Therefore, something besides space, time, and matter must have caused the universe.
That "something" would need to be infinite (non-space), eternal (non-time), and spiritual (non-material).
This is how the God of the Bible is described long before anyone ever came up with the cosmological argument.
