"O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing" is a classic hymn written by Charles Wesley.
Wesley wrote this poem on the one year anniversary of his conversion, and originally there were 18 stanzas!
But what did he mean by "A Thousand Tongues"?
Believe it or not, I sang this for years with a misunderstanding of that initial phrase... or was I right all along?
Join us for today's Daily Word & Prayer to discover more history and the meaning behind this classic hymn.
