Imagine living in Egypt during the time of the Ten Plagues God sent upon them.
The Israelites had been enslaved for 400 years. Pharaoh, the Egyptian king, hardened his heart and refused to let the Israelites go, so God sent plagues of judgment upon the land. The last and most dreadful plague was about to be unleashed; God was going to pass through Egypt and strike the firstborn of all the Egyptians. What a terrifying prospect! What would you do in such a situation?
