It’s not easy to be surrounded by so much stress. Even if you’re not working in a highly-competitive and stressful job nor have a toxic family life at home, stress can still catch you in your most unguarded moments. 

Stress can cause us to lose our calm, peace of mind, temper, and even health. Given that, it’s very important to learn how to manage your stress response during highly-stressful situations to cope in a healthier way.

Of course, that is easier said than done. It’s easier to plan than to actually remain calm when we’re helplessly thrown into a pit of stress. Most of the time, stress is not anticipated. It often takes us by surprise, and the pressure looms. Our minds immediately get filled with thoughts that are not based on any logic; we feel scared, lose our confidence, feel lost and possibly even angry at people and possibly ourselves for being thrown into such an uncomfortable situation.
