Description

On July 13, 2011, in Coronado, California, authorities responded to a 911 call, and when they arrived, they found the naked body of Rebecca Zahau. Rebecca was the girlfriend of pharmaceutical tycoon Jonah Schacnai. She was gagged with her ankles tied and her wrists bound behind her.
The 911 call was made by Jonah's brother Adam, who claimed to have found Rebecca hanging by a rope from the second-floor balcony.
Two days earlier, Jonah's son, six-year-old Max, had taken a fall while in Rebecca's care and was fighting for his life in the intensive care unit.
Authorities deemed Rebecca's death a suicide resulting from her guilt.
Was this suicide or murder? Who would stage either act in such a bizarre, attention-seeking way?
