Description

On November 5, 1983, 42year old Betty Broderick entered her ex-husband's home and shot Dan, the powerful lawyer, and his young bride Linda as they led in bed.  Her first trial ending in a hung jury was controversial/
Although her second trial resulted in a conviction on two counts of second-degree murder, the jury disagreed over whether Betty had committed a crime of passion or an act of cold-blooded murder. Was she the victim of battered person syndrome or perhaps even PTSD? You be the judge.
