Client disputes happen to every business owner eventually, not because you are doing a bad job, but because business involves people, expectations, pressure and money. Misaligned expectations are the number one fuel source for disputes, so the more clarity you build upfront, the fewer fires you will be putting out later.

Then we’ll get practical with a simple framework for handling disputes when they do arise, without making it worse. We’ll cover why emotional, reactive decisions are the biggest risk, when you should pick up the phone, how to check what was promised versus what happened and how to put a resolution in writing without turning it into a fight. If you hit a wall, we’ll also talk about mediation as the next step before court, and why it is often the faster, cheaper, less exhausting option.
