Today on The Quivercast, we sit down with surfer, writer, and entrepreneur Jared Muscat @jaredmuscat. Jared shares how he first fell in love with surfing and how that connection to the ocean helped shape the direction of his life. Realizing early on that a pro surfing career wasn’t in the cards, he shifted gears and jumped headfirst into starting a surf clothing brand—quickly learning just how tough (and humbling) that path can be.
Along the way, Jared has worn many hats throughout the surf industry, gaining a deep appreciation for the culture and the people who keep it moving. He also opens up about being diagnosed with epilepsy as a teenager and how that experience changed his perspective. Today, Jared is passionate about helping destigmatize epilepsy within the surf community, proving that challenges don’t have to keep you out of the water—or away from what you love.
