This week Debbie and Gerry sit down with the Company Leader of the Sacred Circle Theatre Company. The Theatre Company is a queer/trans/feminist theatre company based in Bushwick, Brooklyn. They have produced traditional theatre, festivals, immersive shows, performance parties, and more throughout Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan, most recently presenting Living Tarot in a Covid-safe outdoor venue in Bushwick.
They create theatre that is physical, relevant, and powered by the diverse artistry of the queer community. Everything they do begins as the movement of bodies together in space in order to create the queer/trans community they crave.
