Rest was one of the hardest things for me to implement, personally, into my training schedule. I did not realize how crucially important it was. You think you're just putting in more work while not resting, and it validates you as even more of a grinder. This statement is very false and very counterproductive. There reaches a point in everything where you can always OVER work, just as you can always UNDER work. It is extremely important we don't burn out and find the balance necessary for our body and mind while training for whatever the occasion is.
