Every year since 1949, Mental Health Awareness Month has been observed in the U.S.
According to Moffic, this year could feature the worst state of America’s mental health since that year. Add to that another level of anxiety among healthcare providers, who are currently grappling with the unforeseen consequences of coming to grips with the end of the nation’s COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) May 11, and it’s a troubling scenario.
