A messy story of unkept promises, redeemed by a God who keeps his promises. The boy-king Josiah brought about a revival in the land, honoring the promises made long ago –keeping the Sabbath, renovating the Temple, removing idols, and obeying the Law. However, the final four kings of Israel were unwilling to remain faithful, bringing about the end of David’s throne.
