Fresh Knowledge or Understanding – is NOT normally about the INTRODUCTION of something NEW but the revelation of something old.
New Revelation, Knowledge, or Understanding of seems to be the biggest, most important, very influential, information in your life.
The mind is a battlefield.
2Co 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (4) (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) (5) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
1Co 13:11-12 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. (12) For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
As a man – I’m not going to speak, understand, or think – like a child.
As a child – I thought I knew it all.
As a man – I know – I don’t KNOW it all. I only KNOW in part.
The obstacle of the Red sea can be intimidating when you only KNOW that you are trapped between the Red Sea and a hostile army. It is less threatening if you only KNEW that God plans to use the Red Sea to drown your enemies.
So, don’t be intimidated by anything you KNOW that wants to exalt itself above the KNOWLEDGE of God!
