Yen Ting explores his journey towards becoming a multi-hyphenate and a multi-disciplinary professional, powered by architecture, design and research.
In this episode, Yen ting talks about how his bachelors in Architecture at the National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, his masters in the US at Harvard University Graduate School of Design and PhD in Innovation Design Engineering at London’s Royal College of Art, shaped his thinking and the impact that the exposure to those environments and cultures had on how he operates as creator and human overall.
He talks about adopting a flat structure when it comes to his teaching style and approach as a university professor, this is something that compliments how he runs his brand on the commercial side of his career; as the co-founder of Yen Ting Cho Studio, which produces unique contemporary designs for luxury fashion accessories and interiors.
He’s always looking for gaps between things and is an example of someone who is constantly designing their journey.
