In week 8 of the Red Letter series, we find ourselves in Luke 15:11-20, where Jesus is telling the story of the Prodigal Son. We focus on a young man, sitting in a pigsty, longing to eat what he is feeding the pigs. At that moment he realizes that there is a much better life available, if he will return to his father. Likewise, we may find ourselves in the middle of a pigsty...a muddy mess that we've made out of our lives. We may find ourselves longing for a better life, and realizing that if we return to our Heavenly Father, we can have that life. The question is, will we get up, humble ourselves, and head out to our Father?
