David Langlands is a decorated 37-year officer of the Canada Border Services Agency who has been awarded the Queen’s Golden and Diamond Jubilee medals as well as the Peace Officer Exemplary Service Medal and bar; and has been recognized for a number of significant drug interdictions over his career.
He’s worked at land, sea, air and even mail points of entry and you might even recognize him from the hit show Border Security. On this episode we learn a little about what it's like working on Canada's "front line" as David talks about his experience on 9/11 while working at one of Canada's busiest airports, his role in a major drug interdiction and just how far border security in Canada has come over four decades.
