There is a lot of stuff we might want for Christmas: an action figure, a new car, a winter coat, or a ticket to a new vacation spot. From a historical perspective, Christ's birth was anticipated for thousands of years. People's expectations were shaped by the promises of God, "the Savior will come!" What do we really want for Christmas?
