Peter says that if we have been saved by Jesus Christ, we are called to be holy. But how do we do that in a world that is not holy? Do we go into isolation and isolate ourselves as best we can from the evil world? Do we go with the flow and know that we are sinners living in a broken world—how much can God expect? In our passage this morning, Peter calls us to be Resident Aliens, to live here, but not be like everyone else here. What does that look like?
