Description

Jessica is a Certified Tier 3 Baptiste Yoga Teacher and influencer, and Co Owner and Founder of Baptiste Power Yoga Capital District in Clifton Park, NY.  Jess is also a Certified Level 1 CrossFit coach at CrossFit Shatter in Albany, NY.  She is also a runner, and enthusiastic hiker, in pursuit of the Adirondack 46, and New England Ultra 8.  She has 2 daughters (12 and 10) and a special little dog named Michael Scott.

Jessica shares the importance of having  more open conversations about suicide.  "When we hide these things, they have more power. It just feeds into the shame you have about feeling depressed or thinking about suicide. The more you hide it, the more powerful it becomes. If we are talking about it we can shine a little bit of  light in the dark spaces that then won't have as much control ".

Jessica talks about her healing and the impact suicide has had on her life.  She  is an advocate for suicide prevention,  education, and having clear communication about mental health.
