It's been two and half years since the Bloody Good Film Podcast has started and we haven't covered a single Rutger Hauer film. You guys have written us insistently about it, even to the point of threatening our families, but us here at the Bloody Good Film Podcast have stood firm on our "NO RUTGER HAUER" policy. Well that was before Jesse was kidnapped and the only way he would be released mostly free from harm was to cover a Rutger Hauer film. The kidnappers thought we'd give in and cover the Hitcher, Blade Runner, or Hobo with a Shotgun, but we went with something even they hadn't seen before, SPLIT SECOND! A Dick Durkin film featuring the late great Rutger Hauer.
... Jesse was returned after the recording with almost two whole legs, so it was a mostly satisfactory choice.
Before covering Split Second we also covered a few trailers that caught our attention, Devilreaux, Dune Part 2, and even though it's not a movie, we're not a podcast that plays by the rules; TWISTED METAL!
