Ok that is taking up way too much time, but thank you for joining the Bloody Good Film Podcast this week as we take a trip to Chicago for our next franchise deep dive. This week we compare the original 1992 Candyman, with the still in theaters 2021 Candyman.
We praise Tony Todd as one of the greatest slashers in film history, and find a way to connect Candyman to the death of Macaulay Culkin in My Girl... We discuss the use of real bees and how much money Tony Todd really made shoving hundreds of live bees in his mouth. We talk about atmosphere, Eddie Murphy, and even more atmosphere before moving on to the 2021 remake. No I mean reimagining. No wait, it's a sequel.
