This week the Bloody Good Film Podcast is digging a little more into Anime with one of the few properties that Josh is actually familar with Alita: Battle Angel... or Battle Angel: Alita...or Battle Angel... Or Gunm... American's had to make this confusing.
First on deck is the 1993 "movie" Battle Angel. Which is more of a two episode cartoon smooshed together to come in just under and hour. But it's movie like, and Letterbox has it so that's good enough for the low standards of this podcast. We'll dig into our thoughts on Alita's...er Gally's story in this classic anime based on the Manga.
After that we tackle James Camerons...er Robert Rodriguez's live action adaption, Alita: Battle Angel. Josh and Jesse dig into what does...and what definitely doesn't work about this movie.
Most important we will answer whether or not Battle Angel and Alita: Battle Angel... ARE BLOODY GOOD FILMS!
