"Save me, O God, for the waters have come up to my neck. I sink in the miry depths, where there is no foothold. I have come into the deep waters, the floods engulf me. I am worn out calling for help; my throat is parched. My eyes fail, looking for my God." -Psalm 69:1-3 (NIV)
Why do the righteous suffer and the ungodly oppress those who fear the LORD?
Everyone at one time or another experiences undeserved suffering. The Bible tells us that the afflictions of the righteous are many, yet God will deliver us if we put our trust in Him.
Weeping may endure for a night, but those who trust in the LORD will be delivered.
