Peace is not the absent of war, but serenity in the midst of war.
We will never be totally free of chaos and tribulations as long as we abide in time. Complete peace is begotten only as we transition from time into eternity with Jesus Christ.
Yet, God has given us the remedy for "His peace" while we live in this world.
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto
you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." -John 14:27
The world's way to peace is won by strength and a sword.
Jesus' way is by suffering and dying...
