Being mindful of Heaven and Hell keeps us on track, with our eyes up and expectant. Pictures of a fiery hell in scripture are no mere metaphor, and the Lord sends no one there that hasn’t already chosen it. The Lord is passionate that all men be saved and he has purposed us for heaven. This perspective helps us navigate life in a fallen world with hope and joy. One day Jesus will stand to welcome us home.
