and spent his 20th birthday on the Iraq border with his comrades awaiting orders ,He is a veteran of conflict and has now has taken upon a journey walking around Britain meeting people and bringing much needed focus to the plight of the many ‘ hundreds if not more ‘ veterans such as Himself that suffer with PTSD and the struggles of life that can lead to relationship break ups depression ,homelessness
Suicidal thoughts and the taking of their own lives because the hopelessness that is so overwhelming,
There are many organisations such as talking to minds , help for heroes,veterans gateway and the list goes on but because of a lack of money and therefore resources they cannot help everyone
These veteran men and women have given so much and ask for nothing in return, unfortunately that seems to be exactly what a lot of them receive .
My guest today is also Author of the book love’ life and the legion
Dose not except the way things currently are and is bringing much needed awareness to the increasing problems that veterans like himself face day by painful day ,
My guests story is inspiring and in places shocking but this conversation has to be had ,
Im speaking to my guests today whilst he is still crunching out those miles
We’ve had a great summer and some stupidly hot days but now despite the wind the rain and whilst autumn follows closely behind
This legionarie continues to March on .
