In Exodus 5 and 6, we see Moses and Aaron in obedience to God take on Pharaoh at the sweet ages of 83 and 80. Settle in as Susan and Heather set the stage of how this would have appeared in the Egyptian court and how Moses handles failure this time around.
We are happy you are part of the club. Make sure to take a peek at the show notes below for Hayley's recap!
Questions
- When you make a mistake, what do you do first? Sulk, hide, or pray in humility for wisdom?
- When you are doing God’s work, let’s say trying to serve a surly, suffering, co-worker, and they reject you. Do you give up? Or do you turn back to God in prayer asking him to go before you and soften their heart, give you better words and ways to reach them?
- Moses is clearly frustrated and blaming God in his prayer. He asks why? What are you frustrated with? How have you cried out to God? How have you seen Him answer
- What patterns in your life threaten to take you off the path and plan God has for you?
