Today’s shift is this, how to create balance in your life. The first thing we have to do is define balance. I think many people associate the word ‘balance’ to mean that everything has to be equal, even or perfect. I know that life is rarely, if ever, any of these things!

Essentially, balance doesn’t mean things are even - it DOES mean you have a pulse on everything though. 

So how do we achieve balance?

 First, clean and organize your space. Start with your physical environment because if your desk is disorganized, chanced are other areas of your life are too. 

Next, establish your priorities. If you don’t know how to divide different areas of your life, achieving balance in them will be significantly harder. 

Third, understand that work and life will never be balanced. the best we can hope for is work life integration - but a 50/50 balance is pretty impossible. 

And most importantly, understand that creating balance takes time. 
Nobody is an overnight success.
