Johnny is joined by Alden Thornhill who came up with the idea of The
Starkville Derby: Dachshund Dash. It will be held this Saturday May 6 in the Cotton District from 11am-2pm. He talks about how it will be the biggest Weiner dog race in the country. Over 150 weiner dogs are signed up and folks as far as Colorado will be coming to attend with their Weiner dogs. The best part is proceeds go to the Oktibbeha County Human Society. So if you can’t make it to the Kentucky Derby this weekend come on over to the Starkville Derby to watch the weiner dogs race for a good cause.
