Texas Land Commissioner and Veterans Land Board (VLB) Chairwoman Dawn Buckingham, M.D., has announced that the VLB has approved an increase for the VLB home loan amount from 6,500 to 2,750, an increase of ,250. All qualifying veterans will continue to receive a competitive interest rate, and veterans with a Veterans Affairs (VA) service-connected disability rating of 30 percent or greater still qualify for a discounted interest rate.
