Welcome back to Let's Talk Health with Mairi! This episode is based on the scientific evidence surrounding diets for weight loss. What diet should you chose, If a diet at all? 

Most diets that we commonly hear about aren't based on scientific evidence. Most diets are a manipulation of one fact that isn't backed up by any reasonable body of evidence and are mostly derived from books and magazines. 

We must stop taking nutrition and weight loss advice from the media and start listening to the evidence from qualified and professional people.
