Clarke County Sherif f DeWayne Smith praised his employees at Tuesday’s county commission meeting for “ making Clarke County look good.” “What you are not seeing is what is good,” Smith said in reference to avoiding lawsuits and other issues that could cost the county money. Smith commended the training and leadership skills of his department and for the way it handles and defuses potential problems.
