Living in Our Time Being, with Rev. Barry Heath. Series: The Inn: Housing The Holy A Spacious Christianity, First Presbyterian Church of Bend, Oregon. Scripture: Habakkuk 1:1-4; 2:1-3, Galatians 2:1-3.
The box of Christmas decorations are being put away. This week, Rev. Barry Heath will discuss what it means to live with a mystery that we celebrated when these decorations were up, and to live in the realities of our time, where the Daily News seems to take away all the mystery and the miracle that we remembered at Christmas time. Join us Sunday as we wrestle with a difficult question, “Where is God’s justice in the midst of our time?”
About the Series, The Inn: Housing The Holy: As our world and our lives are filled with grief, anxiety and fear, we journey together in this Advent Season making room in our hearts and lives for hope, peace, joy and love. The journey to Bethlehem is our own journey. It is a journey as close as our own hearts. Is there room for love to be born?

At First Presbyterian, you will meet people at many different places theologically and spiritually. And we love it that way. We want to be a place where our diversity brings us together and where conversation takes us all deeper in our understanding of God.
We call this kind of faith “Spacious Christianity.” We don’t ask anyone to sign creeds or statements of belief. The life of faith is about a way of being in the world and a faith that shows itself in love.
