We have a special treat today! Please welcome Ian Phillips, Production Designer to the pod! We learn so much in this episode! We talk about the difference between an Art Director and a Production Designer, plus the many tasks this role carries. We also discuss the pigeons in Season 1 to create the outdoor space (because I had to), the locations, new technology, and how closely he worked with the producers to create the Parks vision! PLUS, don't forget, Ian is our resident sign store owner, and we learn how closely that role resembles his real life 😂😂
Currently, he's working on A Man On the Inside (another Schurverse show of course), so please be sure to keep an eye out for that!Â
Thank you so much Ian for talking with us, what a fantastic time!!!
