As a church family, we're seeking revival within our cities, but the prerequisite to seeking revival is, first and foremost, seeking God. James was a man who started out as Jesus' half-brother and later became a disciple of Him and, much later, an apostle. His letter to the church has been an inspiration to the body of Christ that has sparked and catalyzed revival of many proportions and through many eras. James valued wisdom, saving faith, the fruit of the Spirit, and submission. These are all necessary ingredients to birth sustained revival. God is willing to pour out His Spirit on us, but are we willing to pour out our hearts to Him?
