In this weeks message Pastor Thomas Toguchi teaches from Philippians chapter 1. Paul is rejoicing over a church that is bearing fruit. We need to examine our lives to see if we too are bearing real fruit. God’s sovereignty is on display in Paul’s writing. How well do we trust God’s control over the Earth and all that takes place within our lives? A true Christian life includes suffering. We have been granted to suffer for Christ (V.29), but we often avoid this by protecting our reputations and relationships. Are we embarrassed about Jesus? If not, we unashamedly should talk about Him and live like Him more often.

1. Is what you are living for worth Christ dying for?
2. Where are you avoiding suffering?
3. What could you risk or sacrifice for Jesus this week?
4. Risk your reputation this week.
