God is asking us to give Him our lives. Because He purchased us through the death of Jesus on the cross, He calls the shots for our lives, our money, our time, our efforts. God is also asking us to give Him our worries. To thank him and pray for the things we need, but trusting Him to ultimately take care of us. We will have hardships that He will use to teach and grow us, but if we worry we tell the world that our God is not to be trusted. Christ can enable us to be content regardless of our circumstances. Lastly, we give our
money. We each have eternal bank accounts in heaven that will last forever. Choosing to be generous on earth is what fills those eternal rewards. This week, how can we make a financial plan to sacrifice and be more generous? Because it will make us feel like God, because our Father is a giver. We will also reach worldly people and see them get saved because they love stuff and money. Those people will welcome us into heaven.
