Description

In this continuing study I take a look at the Rapture Doctrine. Is this a Pre-Trib, as taught in most mainstream Churches are do Christians go through the Tribulation Period? I compare Thessalonians to Matthew 24 along with Revelation. I venture into Paul’s writings to explore what he has to say, along with what Yahweh says in Ezekiel. I also ask the listeners to grab a pencil and paper as we create charts for comparison as we get deeper into this study.

In this Part 25 I take a look at Matthew 24 and see what Yahshua Messiah has to say to His disciples.

In this Chapter Yahshua Messiah will discuss with His disciples, His return for His bride. This Chapter goes in hand with those 7 events of Rev. 6. Events that we shall see and understand that lead to His return. Many Churches teach this chapter as the pre-tribulation rapture event. But we shall find out, there is no such thing as flying away, as described by Ezekiel Chapter 13. We also shall learn of the Parable of the Fig Tree and how this Parable unfolded itself in our generation. We shall pin point events that took place like, ‘The Days of Noah’, just what really happen back then!

1.     And Yahshua went out. = Better, following the best MSS., Yahshua departed from the Temple, and was going on His way, when His disciples. St. Mark and St. Luke report the touching incident of the widow’s mite as connected with our Lord’s departure.

3. Take note that HIs disciples ask Him 3 questions!
Coming = 2nd Advent

The end = ‘the sunteleia’ meeting together of all that marks

The consummation = the events that take place (those 7 Seals of Rev.) of this earth age. Note, Yahshua Messiah does not use the Greek word ‘telos’, which means the actual end.

World = ‘aion’ an age or age time

This is the number 1 warning. Deception! This would be the 1st seal of Rev. 6:1-2

4.   Take heed = ‘blepo’ to have the power of seeing, to use the eyes.
5.    Many = putting on that Christian robe, claiming to be of Yahshua Messiah. Many denominations claiming to be Christians deceiving others. From this point on we shall compare the verses to Rev. 6. This would be the first seal.
Take heed that no man deceive you. By pretending to be The Messiah. As they yet believed that the Messiah would surely return to reign at Jerusalem, this admonition was needed.

Come in my name. As the Messiah. We learn from Josephus that enthusiasts did come about the time of the end of Jerusalem, claiming to be sent of Yahweh. Bar-cocheba, "the son of the star," appeared in A. D. 120. From time to time other deceivers have appeared.

Don’t end up like those in Hosea 4:6 ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God (Elohim), I will also forget thy children.’

But, be like those in 2Timothy 2:15 ‘Study to shew thyself approved unto God (Yahweh), a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.’
