Antony is Head of RMT (Repair Maintenance and Tyres) at Leaseplan UK. Responsible for service booking, VOR management, Rental, Accident management, breakdown and recoveries, network management, maintenance / tyre authorisation and cost control for their fleet of 200,000 vehicles in the UK.
Prior to that he was UK General Manager Operations for CarNext.com the largest pan-European marketplace for high quality used cars.
In 2019, the Californian car subscription start up Fair.com engaged my business, Aquilae to set up a UK subsidiary for them and I first met Antony when I recruited him into my team to Head up Operational Partnerships for Fair UK.
Prior to that project, Antony spent five years as Head of In-Life Services at Zenith Vehicle Contracts, the U.K.'s leading independent vehicle leasing, outsourcing and fleet management provider with a fleet size of 140k units.
And before that he had 15 years at Leasedrive, with the last three years as Head of Operations.
As you will hear from this conversation, Antony's 20 plus years in the industry have served up a steady stream of opportunities and challenges which in hindsight almost seem like they were designed to provide the best education and most appropriate experience to equip him for the mobility industry in 2021 and beyond.
