Chris is a lawyer, he is the owner of his own professional services firm, Bison Cove, he is a Senior Legal Consultant at the global law firm DLA Piper, he is the co author of the book Legal and Conduct Risk in the Financial Markets and he is a Client Partner and General Counsel for Aquilae.
All my guests' careers are unique but as you'll find out from our conversation there is considerable overlap between Chris's legal and financial conduct world and our automotive or mobility world. His expertise has seen him engaged and appreciated by household names in automotive and, since joining Aquilae, Chris has worked on our projects with Arrival, Fair.com and Toyota.
In this conversation, we talk about how he got into the legal profession and how he has subsequently designed his own portfolio career which provides him with a great deal of autonomy and variety. Chris also offers his own perspective on financial conduct and compliance from which organisations can leverage purpose and culture to create an environment that by design delivers good outcomes for customers.
