Graham is the Chief Executive Officer of Advantage Finance Ltd.
He spent 21 years with Volkswagen Financial Services where he started as an Area Manager and progressed to become Chief Executive Officer of Volkswagen Financial Services UK, a role which he held for over 11 years. He also spent 3 years in Germany at the Headquarters of VWFS.
His early career included time with GE Capital and Mercantile Credit as well as a spell as the General Manager for a Rover Dealer in Glasgow, Scotland.
In our conversation Graham talks openly about his life and career journey from his humble childhood in Glasgow where he decided to create a different life for himself to the success he experienced leading a team that would grow VW Financial Services significantly in the UK. He describes one particular conversation that would turn out to have life changing consequences for him and he shares his experience of leading through the global financial crisis, dieselgate and Covid 19. We also talk about the personal impact of leaving an employer after investing many years with that business and those colleagues.
I loved our conversation and I am excited to share Graham's story, wisdom and humanity with you. I look forward to hearing what resonates with you.
